Make $100 a day with affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is a business model that does not require having your own product or service. It is a great business model for those looking for a way to make money online who don’t have any offerings of their own. It is also a business model that can bring in passive income, as it does not require you to be exchanging your time in order to make money. You simply set up your system once and let it automate for you for years to come.

An affiliate marketer simply recommends products by another company through a link. Many large companies offer an affiliate program that you can sign up for. One example of a large company who has an affiliate program is Amazon. Ever recommend a certain product to someone and they buy it? With affiliate marketing, you can get paid for that recommendation when someone buys. Affiliate marketers make a commission for every successful sale. Commissions can range from 10%-75% of the product price. If you sold something that was $200 with a 50% commission, you easily have your $100 for the day. Once you’re able to sell something, you’re able to sell anything at any price. The process in selling something that is $100 is no different to selling something that is $1000.

Picking a niche

There are many ways to do affiliate marketing, but one of the most important things to do is to figure out what niche you want to be in. There are so many niches to choose from. You can do something that you are passionate about, but not all passion projects are profitable niches so make sure you do your research first.

As an affiliate marketer, you have to think about the problems people have and put the solutions in front of them. I once saw in a Facebook Group of someone making $30,000 a month in the mattress niche. I would have never thought to get in that niche, but there is obviously a demand in choosing the right mattress. Who would have thought? The sky is the limit in picking a niche. One of the most profitable niche is health and fitness and I will be using it as an example in this article.

Finding affiliate products that make $100 a day

Once you have found a niche, you can sign up to be an affiliate partner for a company. Some companies let everyone into their program, while others require approval. If you already have an idea of what you want to promote, you can go to that company’s website and see if they have an affiliate program. Two of my favorite websites for finding affiliate programs are ClickBank and Share A Sale. ClickBank has a lot of informational stuff while Share A Sale holds some of the biggest well-known brands with products that are tangible. You can sign up for both to check out what programs they offer.

There are a few key things to look for when you are signing up for an affiliate program. One of the key things is to make sure that that affiliate program already has sales. If it has lots of sales already, you know that product has no problems selling. Another key thing to look for is the average commission rate, the return rate, and how much you can get each month in recurring commission. Finding an affiliate program with recurring commission can build up a nice passive income. You also want to look for programs with upsells.

One of the important things to look for is the sticky cookie rate. The sticky cookie is how you get the commission when someone buys from your link. Some programs offer only 1-day cookie while others have a 30-day cookie. There are even programs that have a 365-day cookie. If someone buys the product within 30 days and the link has a 30-day cookie, you would receive the commission for this. You also want to check out if the program has retargeting. Once someone clicks on your affiliate link, the company who you are partnered with does all the retargeting ads for you and if the person buys from one of these retargeted ads, you also make the commission. Once you have found a product, you’re ready to start promoting it

As you can see, Organifi has an awesome affiliate program with a high rebill rate. This program has the potential to make more than one sale. It also has the potential to make recurring monthly sales.

Choosing your platform

I mentioned before that there are many ways to do affiliate marketing. You can do affiliate marketing through a blog or website. Get the step-by-step tutorial here on how to start a blog.

Companies want you to send your traffic to their sales pages. Rather than sending traffic straight to the affiliate sales page, which gives you no data, having a bridge page or landing page with information before the offer allows you to collect data. Not only can you collect data doing it this way, but it also converts better compared to sending traffic straight to the sales page. Sending traffic is the crucial part to making $100 a day with affiliate marketing. With any business, traffic is the main source that drives sales. Without it, no one is seeing anything. There are many organic and paid traffic sources.

A more organic way to build traffic is through social media. A great source for building organic traffic is Pinterest as Pinterest has the highest buyer intent rate out of any other social media platform. You could create pins to post to Pinterest. My favorite tool for building traffic from Pinterest is Tailwind. Another great way to promote organically is through YouTube videos. YouTube pops up when searches are done on Google therefore making this platform produce warm leads. People also go to YouTube to search for something, just like Pinterest. Facebook and Instagram don’t have people searching for things.

As always, if you want faster results, paid traffic can be done. Buying solo ads from Udimi is a great traffic source for beginners and you can quickly build up an email list this way. Many large companies first started off with solo ads. Other methods of paid traffic include Google, Bing, Facebook, and Youtube ads which are more advance. Google, Bing, and YouTube ads are great as your ad will pop up when someone is searching for something you can solve, compared to Facebook. People on Facebook aren’t searching for things. Facebook is a great way to retarget people who have already seen your offer. If you partnered with a company who retargets the people you send over, they will do this at their expense.

As you can see, the method in producing that $100 a day with affiliate marketing is through traffic that lands on a landing page. That landing page then sends them to the affiliate offer where the sale could happen. The company you partnered with could retarget those people to close the sale and at the same time you are building up your email list where you can target them with more offers.
