Feeling stressed? Burned out? Too much hustle? This seems to be the topic going on around in the entrepreneurial community recently.
The following questions below are ones to ask yourself so you can figure out what is aligned with you so that burnout happens less often in your business and in your life.
How do you want to run your business?
How much time do you want to work?
How much time do you want to play?
Truth is, if you just keep hustling and hustling, you will get burned out. No questions about that! I use to hustle so much to the point that I would get burned out and feel guilty about taking some time off. Can you relate to this?
I’ve come to figure out that it’s important to set the intension for your playtime or rest time when you are running a business and that you don’t always have to hustle.
I take immediate actions now when I start to feel burned out so I don’t sink in a deeper hole. Here are some of my favorite ways to feel better.
Take a nap
I don’t take naps often as I’ve always thought it was a waste of day back in my super hustle days, but sometimes it just feels good to do when I am physically and mentally drained. I usually start my naps with meditation and usually start to feel aligned and refreshed afterwards.
Meditation
Do you currently meditate? If not you should give it a try. It’s great to not have anything to think about for a few minutes. One of my favorite apps that help me meditate is Insight Timer, which you can download on your mobile device. There are so many selections for meditation to chose from on there.
Healing Crystals
Call me woo, but healing crystals totally help with my energy. It helps with my vibration and can totally dispel any negative energy coming around me. Not sure what I’m talking about? Take a bath
Relax in your tub. Take some time for yourself. Perhaps pour a glass of wine and sink in some bath bombs.
Read

. The universe always has my back and I need to remind myself with these badass books.
Workout
Have you ever had a workout that makes you feel like you are unstoppable? Those are the greatest ones and can come in very handy during a burnout. You can go to the gym or just workout from home. I workout at home, and depending on my mood during a burnout, I will usually either do some yoga or lift some weights. Both give me a different kind of accomplishment. Maybe for you it is running?
Travel
One of my favorite stress reliever is traveling! I make sure to do it at least once every quarter because it’s such a great feeling to just enjoy and learn from life. My favorite site for flights is Google Flights. You can set the month you want to travel, and chose what kind of trip you would like to do, and it will give you options and the prices for different places.
Youtube
One of my other favorites to do when I’m burned out is to go on YouTube and find one of my favorite leaders. I just sit on the couch and watch these leaders inspire and motivate me with one (or many) of their videos.
